Transverzala - 2nd Summit, Areh
27th of February, Saturday, but real mountaineers wake up at 7a.m. and although it was rainy night go to overcome second point of Transverzala. Expedition from hotel Bellevue till Ruška koča (via Mariborska koča) was successful and took 3:45 there and back, with hot wine break in Ruška koča.
By the way, I will be first Lithuanian and Toto - first Chihuahua, who made Transverzala, if we accomplish this project. :)

Summit Pohorje from Other Side
Yesterday, it was 24th of January, we decided to repeat first summit from another side, on steep part. Certainly we succeeded, but for that we needed 1:30 to reach the peak and about an hour to descent.
We started at lower station of Maribor cableway and finished at upper station of Maribor cableway (hotel Bellevue).

Transverzala - 1st Summit
Project "Transverzala" was launched in 2010 February 20th. We started early in the morning, near gostilna "Poštela", though it was raining. Quite soon rain converted into snow and eventually after 2:30 hours we were on the peak of Mariborsko Pohorje next to hotel Bellevue. For the first time in my life I was in the cloud. To my surprise, it is like a fog. I remember, in the childhood sometimes we were lying on the grass and looking to the sky, but we didn't have such crazy ideas as to touch the clouds. We had much more serious problems. Probably with ageing I become sentimental, because to catch rainy cloud was so exciting. Descent took 1:30.
New Project - "Transverzala"
New project is to make High Level Route across Slovenia, in Slovene language known as Slovenska Planinska Pot or Transverzala. It is route which covers more than 500km through hills and mountains of Slovenia, from Maribor to Ankaran. Deadline is 2013.
